You need these!
What would I do without holiday gift stickers? I love these so much, I use them for everything. I have small square gift stickers (about 3x3 inches) I use for family gifts, and for gifts from the children.
These go on everything- hostess gifts at holiday parties, teacher gifts at the end of the term, to my kids friends at holiday parties, to my nieces and nephews and god children when I wrap and mail gifts, and on the small bags of cookies we often bake at Christmas to give to doormen, garage attendants, and all the people who help us during the year.
I generally write handwritten messages on each gift, but occasionally there just isn't time, and this way all the gifts are labelled nicely and look beautiful regardless. My babysitter for the kids can help package presents, and write an "XO" for me, and they stickers make everything look personal and pretty.
For gifts with longer messages, I love the fill-in stickers we have that are 3.5 x 5, like an index card. I use these mostly for hostess gifts and larger boxes. I also use them for my kids' gifts to their friends, so that they have room to write in their "bigger" (i.e. "often messy") hand writing!
My personal favorite (spoiler alert, do not let a small child read this blog ahead of you) are my "From Santa" stickers. I invented these a few years ago, when my daughter asked my why Santa's hand writing looked like mine. I talked her out of it, but the next year, late at night, I realized I was out of plain gift cards and so I used my personalized gift stickers to mark the gifts from Santa, and that was just too suspicious for my older son. So, I realized that Santa needed to have his own stickers.
I made some up for Barrett, Jack and Whitney so that each child had his and her own version of stickers from Santa - ie "To Whitney, From Santa" stickers that went on gifts, with no handwriting at all. These have been an immediate favorite in my neighborhood!
We also have fun Halloween stickers that I like to put on the little bags of candy we give out in our apartment building in New York City. I also give a few bags to teachers, and manicurists, and anyone who would like a little treat from my family.
Check out the entire holiday sticker collection. They are really fun AND super useful! XO, Kate
