How quickly will my order ship?

Pickett’s Press orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days of the order being placed. Boxed stationery ship immediately, and custom printing takes 1-3 weeks FROM PROOF APPROVAL depending on printing method.

Once your order has been shipped, your chosen shipping method will indicate how many days it will take for the package to arrive on your doorstep.

Please email us if you have any questions about your order or need your shipment to arrive by a specific time. We’re happy to accommodate a specific request if we are able to do so.

Can I rush my order?

For boxed stationery, yes, assuming that what you order is in stock. Please contact us directly if your order is time-sensitive. Make sure to choose expedited shipping upon checkout, and please know that only UPS shipping methods guarantee delivery dates – USPS shipping methods do not.

For custom printing orders, if you’re in a hurry, rush requests can be accommodated for a 50% up-charge and a time frame must be agreed upon before an order is placed.

What is the turnaround time for custom printing?

Custom engraving and letterpress can take up to 3 weeks to proof, print and ship. Simple stationery orders generally remain within this 3 week time-frame, while extremely custom orders that include border details or hand-lettering can take up to 6 weeks to proof, print and ship.

Custom wedding invitations take a minimum of 6 weeks to proof, print and ship. Custom wedding orders tend to have multiple pieces and include special details such as hand-lettering, border details and liners. These orders require more handwork and more attention to detail which requires more time.

Keep in mind that custom printing is an art and Pickett’s Press takes great care to ensure the utmost quality. Please give yourself enough time. If you’re in a hurry, rush requests can be accommodated for a 40% up charge and a time-frame must be agreed upon before an order is placed.

Do you offer custom monogram design or custom artwork and illustrations?

Yes we do. Monogram design and illustrations are an art and takes time. If you’re interested in having a custom monogram created, or a drawing of your house, dog, or what not, please contact us directly. 

What is your return policy?

Unused and unopened orders of NON-PERSONALIZED order may be returned within 7 days of receipt for a refund. Once we receive the returned item(s) the charges will be credited to you (though shipping costs are non-refundable). Used, opened, and/or final sale items cannot be returned.

PERSONALIZED orders: A 50% deposit is taken to personalize custom orders and this deposit cannot be refunded once proofs are issued. In addition, personalized orders may not be cancelled or refunded once final proofs have been approved. Upon final approval of your proof, Pickett’s Press cannot accept returns or issue refunds due to any and all errors (such as misspelled words, etc). By approving your final proof, you accept responsibility for the information and layout as shown. If errors are discovered after proof approval, Pickett’s Press is required to charge for a reprint.

How do I place a custom order for something that isn't on your site?

Custom printing fees are based on what you’re having printed, the printing method, the quantity, the number of ink colors, and any special details you choose to add. You can get a sense for our pricing grids on our website, based on the product you choose.

Extremely custom orders that include hand-lettering, calligraphy, border details and envelope liners must be priced out based on your request. The sample pricing does not include these details, but we are more than happy to provide a custom quote based on your specific details.
