Nina & Willy

Nina & Willy is a letterpress wedding suite set in NYC. Nina grew up in New York City, and went to school around the corner from the church where they are getting married. Willy grew up in Locust Valley, so they have many friends in common and lots of fun events around the wedding. Nina loves soft delicate things, so the light colors and variations in the ink which can be achieved with letterpress printing were perfect for her custom design. She wanted the invitation to reflect the antique lace of her grandmother’s veil, which she remade for the wedding. We took the photograph, and designed this lacy lattice to convey the feeling of that lace. The pink and gray colors are also chosen through the wedding- in the silver place settings to the pale pink flowers and bridesmaids dresses.

6 x 9 Natural White 1 ply Paper in Black, Magenta, and Gravel ink. Vine Monogram accompanied with lattice design which is carried over throughout the entire suite.
